Applied Geospatial Analytics (AGA) is a full-service research consulting company located in Essex County, Massachusetts.  We conduct our core business practice using leading-edge Satellite Remote Sensing, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Global Positioning Systems (GPS), Relational Geo-Databases, and Web-based technologies to acquire, analyze, and visualize data from our environment.

We blend in-depth multi-layered and multi-temporal geospatial data with robust statistics to provide our clients with the capabilities to support natural resource exploration, research, planning, conservation, preservation, public health research, business analysis, legal & law enforcement, insurance valuation, economic sustainability, asset management, policy development, implementation, and land management efforts.

To do so, we investigate developing land areas, forests, fields, wetlands, water, coastal zones, vegetation health, wildlife habitats, open spaces, storm/fire/flood damaged areas, insect infestations, forest fuels, crime locations, proposed business site placements, health care networks, roadways, and critical infrastructure utilities.

Our Business Philosophy

We understand that across the world, land development continues to expand and proliferate into communities.  This expansion has led to the conversion of land for housing, businesses, schools, recreations and parks, placing significant strain on existing land cover, land use, available natural resources, critical infrastructure, and public service resources. 

Mounting growth pressures and a reduction of undeveloped land have raised serious concerns, as cropland and forest fragmentation, wetland and wildlife habitat destruction, protected open-space infringement, infrastructure burdens, pollution, and systematic losses of rural conditions have become obvious.
